Review: "Sweet Medicine: Book Four of the Lazare Family Saga" by Elizabeth Bell
Wow!! What an epic ending to this four-book series!! The series starts with Rene, the grandfather of the Lazare family and follows the paternal side of the family for three generations, ending with this page turning saga of David and Esh. It picks up right were Book Three, Native Stranger, left off with all the action and drama that the series is known for.
All Esh and his bride, Clare, want is to enjoy the true love that they have found but it is not to be. Clare is ripped from his loving embrace and the story begins with heart pounding conflict. Thus, the story begins and follows their quest to find happiness and contentment in the west of the 1860’s.
I highly recommend this book. You are hooked from the first page and cannot put it down. It can be read as a stand-alone book but why would you? All four books will have you glued to your seat until the last page is turned. I loved them all!
