My name is Diane and I am a book lover!!  Some would say that I am buggy about books...hence my Book Bug Blog!

 

I am dangerous in a bookstore and love supporting local, indie shops.  Because I am such an avid reader, I need to keep lists of what I have read and notes about them too, so I created a blog to do this. 

 

I love to read all kinds of books but my favorites are non fiction dealing with history and historical fiction that tells a good story.  That doesn't mean I won't pick up any kind of book to review if it catches my interest and just about everything does!!!

 

Once I start a book I usually have to finish it no matter what and unless a book is completely horrible (and I have read very few like that) I try and be very fair in my reviews and not slam the books because just cause I don’t like it doesn’t mean someone else won’t.  I review because I like to read and I review from that aspect, not if the characters are fully developed or stereotyped or if the English is perfect…if the story is good, I enjoy it and hope you will too…
